The impossible dream made possible" by a scot who picked the club from the bottom and built it up to be a world dominator again his name Sir Alex Ferguson. As the curtain came down on his 27 year reign at old trafford he bade farewell and leaves an unprecedented successful legacy at his wake with the Pa man announcing the list of the silware which came during his time (so long he had to read them out of a script) gives the idea of his legacy.

It all started on a cold november morning in 86 when the news came in that ron atkinson has been replaced by a young alex ferguson.Fast forward three years from that and a banner was held at old trafford saying "3 years of excuses n its still crap .... Ta ra Fergie" so little do they knew about what was to follow but as that years went by n ferguson grew more n more in stature n delivered trophy after trophy and reminded old trafford of it's glory days that it once had but he wasnt the one to stop there instead he made team after team which won championships after championships consistently even surpassing the success of the busby babes which they had in 50s n 60s.

His reign was nothing short of drama either those late goals in injury times to win or draw the matches gave birth to the term "Fergie time" Those classic come backs when he he literally picked his players from adversity n instilled in them the never say die attitude Being 3-0 down at the lane n then coming back to win 5-3 only ferguson's team can do such things all down to his motivational skills.

The night of 99 in turin when juventus had struck early blows he didnt let his players panic and made them fight till the last minute same happened in the final when utd scored 2 late goals to clinch the tittle away from the bavarians hence securing the historic treble only english team to do so result being ferguson getting knighted but that was just a few of many comebacks For most that would have been the peak but ferguson didnt stop there he kept on firming team after team who would win championships after championships. Not only he made teams he made individuals too the likes of giggs scholes gary keane cristiano and many more There were liverpool's glory arsenal's beautiful football chelsea's n city's money but in the end there was just one club at the top man utd led by the man himself sir alex ferguson.

And on his last home game a banner was raised from the same spot and in the same minute saying "23 years of silver n we are still top... Ta ra fergie" rephrasing the old banner raised in 89. The fergie time will always live on as the fourth official held up his electronic board saying "26-38" Reminded everyone that the impossible dream has been achieved. TA RA FERGIE!!
